World Golf Hall of Fame – St Augustine, FL

Today we drove from Atlanta and headed south into Florida to St Augustine.  If you are into trivia, St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement within the borders of the United States.

In St Augustine is the World Golf Hall of Fame which was established in 1998.  It is a very impressive facility with lots of trophies, personal effects of players and old clubs on display.

Here are Jenna and Jessica at the entrance:

Each played in the Hall of Fame has a locker in which they choose what personal items are displayed.

Did you know there are 6 Australians in the Golf Hall of Fame?  Could you name them?

After touring the museum, we all attempted a hole in one over water to a green / tee approx 140 yards away and played some mini golf.  Here is a look from outside:

Tomorrow we are all attending day 1 of the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
