Hail to the Princess Aurora!

For our second week in Orlando we have met up with the Young family again (driven over from Dallas) for some theme park fun.  On our day at Magic Kingdom the two little girls (Jessica & Macy Kate) had a booking to get the full princess experience – a makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and then to have lunch with the Princesses in Cinderella’s Castle.

The Fairy Godmother’s in training did a wonderful job doing her hair and adding the little crown and Mickey-head pin, as well as lots of glitter and sparkle.

They then went on to have their photos taken before heading to Cinderella’s Castle to meet Cinderella and sit down for lunch.

The dining room was up 2 flights of stairs, right inside the castle.  It was nice to sit down in the dining room and enjoy our lunch in the cool, as it was very hot outside!  One by one the princesses were introduced and came out to greet each table.  Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine & Jessica’s favourite, Princess Aurora!  This was the only area of Disney World where you could meet with Aurora, they were doing renovations to her usual meet’n’greet spot in Epcot, so of course Jessica was beyond thrilled!!

Through great effort, Jessica has managed to keep her Princess hairstyle for 4 days!  She has been dedicated to this effort, even to the point of wearing a life jacket at the water parks so as not to get it wet 🙂
