This morning we walked the hallowed halls of the American Museum of Natural History, located alongside Central Park on the Upper West Side.
Famous to the girls for the movie ‘Night at the Museum’, but famous to most others for the enormous collection of artifacts held within it’s walls.
Including: The first fossil of a T-Rex ever found!
and a life sized blue whale suspended form the roof!! We had this room to ourselves early in the morning, which was a little eerie.
My favourite was the dinosaur fossils, especially the Triceratops.
We spent the remainder of the afternoon doing a little shopping in Macy’s on 34th Street and in Manhattan Mall.
Oh Miracle on 34th Street. He He… Was there a fossil of Pa at the Museum?
The Museum looks great. Don’t the Dinasaurs look enormous.
Wonderful!
