We left our Disneyland Hotel this morning and caught the train into the city.
We are staying in an apartment in Paris about 15 minutes walk from the Place de la Concorde.
After settling in, we headed out for a Sunday afternoon of walking in a gorgeous sunny 24 degrees day. We headed straight for the Place de la Concorde and looked around at all of the beautiful architecture and sights before crossing the Seine River.
We headed straight for the Eiffel Tower. On such a gorgeous day weather wise, there were people everywhere. The Paris marathon had been conducted earlier in the day.
We have tickets booked for Monday afternoon to ascend the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the views from the top. We are excited about doing that.
This afternoon was just enjoying the sights and sounds at the bottom of the Tower.
On Monday and Tuesday we will be doing a lot more walking around Paris taking in a lot more touristy things.

Go and see the crazy traffic at The Arch! Weather looks really good. Let’s hope it stays that way. Got cold here but supposed to warm up later in the week. Stuart, you be pleased to know the Hawks are on the bottom of the ladder and we play the Cats next.
