Day 3 was all about DisneyLand. The park was open from 9am until midnight.
We left our hotel at 8am and drove around 15 minutes up the I5 to park in the Disney parking garage. We purchased our multi-day park hopper tickets and proceeded into California Adventure park.
We spent the morning riding California Screamin’ (a family favourite), Toy Story’s Midway Mania and the Symphony Swings.
We enjoyed our lunch overlooking the Grizzly River Run ride before heading over to the Disneyland park.
There we rode Lindy’s favourite ride – Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (multiple times), as well as Buzz Lightyear, Indiana Jones and time walking through the shops.
We headed back to California Adventure for dinner and rode California Screamin’ again in the dark as well as a few other rides …
… before heading back to Disneyland to finish off the day.
One more ride of Big Thunder …
before watching the Fantasmic show and watching the final fireworks around 9:30pm
After the fireworks, we headed back to our car and drive back to our hotel. Time for sleep now before some more shopping tomorrow.
