Day 5 took us up the I5 through Los Angeles and to Universal Studios Hollywood for a day of rides and entertainment. Being early on a Sunday morning, the traffic was relatively light for Los Angeles.
We started off at Hogsmeade and rode the ride ‘Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey’.
We then proceeded on the backlot studio tram tour which takes you through many of the backlot sets and soundstages, where many movies over the years have been filmed.
We enjoyed the Transformers 3D ride (multiple trips) and then Dad, Sarah and Jenna got very wet on the Jurassic Park ride. Picture below just before boarding and getting wet.

We went on most of the rides at the park, as well as seeing the special effects show. The photo below is in the line for the Minions 3D ride.
The studios has a prime position on a hill and has amazing views across most of north Los Angeles.
Tomorrow will be a slower day as we head south down the I5 for some more shopping at the Carlsbad outlets and surrounding area.
Wow it looks amazing. Hope you are keeping to your budget with the shopping or else you’ll be in trouble. Very glad it was you on the rides. T
Hope you continue to have lots of fun we are very jealous xxxxxooooo
