This morning we headed out early walking to the Sumida Park to check out some of the last flowering cherry blossom trees. We then headed across the Sumida River and walked to Asakusa, which is full of temples and markets.
We then walked back to the Tokyo SkyTree to check out some shops before returning to our apartment for lunch.
After a decent rest at home, we headed to the train station and headed towards Ueno Park – it was very busy.
We were able to see the remaining cherry blossom trees flowering.
We spent some time walking through some Ueno laneways and shopping before catching the train back to Asakusa.
Then we walked back across the Sumida River and back to our apartment taking this photo below as we crossed the river.
Tomorrow we up early and off to Disneyland.
