After another solid and long two days at the Disney Parks, Wednesday was a much more leisurely pace.
Most enjoyed a very healthy sleep in and we spent the morning doing our own thing. After lunch we headed out to Shinjuku, which for the trivia minded, has the busiest train station in the world and several million people passing through it every day. The station has 36 platforms, including an underground arcade, numerous hallways and over 200 exits.
We spent some time shopping in Takashimaya including a Disney Store and Tokyu Hands before wandering out onto the street shopping.
Once we returned back to our apartment, we spent the unenviable task of packing all of our stuff back into suitcases and duffel bags, including a ridiculous amount of shopping.
On Thursday morning we checked out of our apartment and placed all of our luggage into lockers at the train station.
Before we checked out, we took a quick photo of our apartment building with some waving from our balcony.
Then we headed off to Asakusa again for some final shopping.
Mum wanted to take a photo of the children in the same place from 4 years ago when they were wearing kimonos.

We then headed back to the Skytree and had some lunch before grabbing our luggage from the lockers and catching the train to Tokyo’s Narita airport.
We are currently sitting in the Qantas lounge awaiting the departure of our flight back to Melbourme. Sarah decided to catch up on some of the news but she had trouble reading some of the articles.
