So we are off to the USA again for a 4 week holiday in Southern California, Florida, and the Caribbean.
Fortunately we were able to enjoy the Qantas First Class lounge in Melbourne before our departure for LAX. We all enjoyed a big breakfast with the grown-ups enjoying a glass of bubbly.
After our 14 hour and 15 minutes flight to LAX, we cleared customs etc and made our way to the car rental centre where we picked up our 7 seater Dodge Caravan.
We headed immediately south east down towards Anaheim (where our hotel is) and spent the day driving around shopping – we went to Hobby Lobby, Target, Downtown Disney.
We ate an early lunch at the very popular In N Out burger before checking in to our hotel and walking to Downtown Disney for the afternoon. We were all in bed by 8:30pm.
Tuesday was spent with a little sleep in, breakfast and then shopping at the MarketPlace at Tustin, which is down the I5. We had lunch again at a different In N Out burger before a little more shopping.
Dad dropped the 4 girls off at Downtown Disney again, as he had to head back to the hotel room, to do some work.
On Tuesday evening we were packing our suitcases again, as tomorrow morning at 4am we are departing our hotel and driving back to LAX (about 45 minutes from Anaheim) for our 7:20am flight to Orlando, FL. We then have two full days in FL (Thursday and Friday) before driving to Port Canaveral on Saturday morning.
