After a 3 year absence, we have returned to Walt Disney World in Florida with its 4 main theme parks, 2 water parks and numerous shops, resorts and hotels.
Our usual daily schedule is to visit a theme park as it opens, spending the morning hours there, having lunch and then visit one of the two water parks for a couple of hours before returning to our apartment for dinner and then returning to a theme park for the evening.
Most of our time at Walt Disney World will be spent at the 4 main theme parks and we started with Hollywood Studios on Sunday.
Our favourite rides in this park include Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania.

We started with the Aerosmith ride, rode Toy Story Mania and then waited in line for one of the newest rides, Slinky Dog Dash.

After lunch we headed to the slightly larger of the two water parks, Blizzard blizzard where we all had a great time cooling off in the lazy river and riding several rides.

We returned to our apartment for dinner before returning to the theme park for a few more rides as the sun went down and the day cooled off a little.

On Monday we started the day at the Magic Kingdom. As soon as the front gates opened we rushed to Lindy’s all time favourite ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which we were able ride 3 times.

On Tuesday we headed to Animal Kingdom.

We went straight to the Everest Expedition ride and rode it twice within the first 30 minutes – it is a very clever rollercoaster style ride and also one of our favourites.

We also watched Nemo: The Musical and walked to the newish Avatar area which includes the two rides with by far the longest wait times. We sat down in this area and had lunch before venturing to the other water park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.

We enjoyed cooling off at Typhoon Lagoon before returning to our apartment for dinner again. Tonight after dinner we headed back to the Magic Kingdom where we rode Big Thunder and walked around the shops before meeting with Mickey and Minnie.

… before finishing the evening watching the fireworks again.

The only remaining park left is Epcot which we will tackle on Thursday.
Wow it all looks amazing. You all must be exhausted at the end of the day. The photos are really good and we enjoy looking at them.
Have fun and we will look forward to your next journal entry love to all Nana and Paxxxxxooooo
