We got up on Sunday morning, had breakfast, packed the car and headed towards the Orlando International Airport. We returned our rental car, a very nice 7 seater Chrysler Pacifica …
… and checked in our now 6 suitcases for our flight back to LAX.
Lindy and I were able to access the American Airlines Admiral’s Lounge, and after I smuggled a few items of food out to the children (who were sitting immediately outside), the man on the front desk invited the children in to use the lounge too. It was very nice of him and allowed all of us to sit together for an hour before our boarding to have a drink and some snacks.
Our flight from Orlando to Los Angeles left a little early and was just over 5 hours in duration.
We collected our luggage and jumped on the bus to collect our rental car, this time a 7 seater Dodge Caravan.
We checked in to our hotel in Irvine (around 15 minutes drive from Disneyland), headed out for some groceries, and all had an early night, ready for our big first day back at Disneyland Resort and California Adventure Park.
What only 6 suitcases…. I expected more. Keep having fun will catch up with you sometime next week. We are off to QLD tomorrow and will be back Monday. Russell is getting better and a few days in the sun will do him good.. That is of course if there is any sun it has been raining up there. Love to all Nan and Pa xxxooo
