After travelling for a little more than 24 hours, we have finally arrived on time into LHR from Dubai. Our flight from MEL – DXB was 13 hours and 25 mins and we all enjoyed a nice breakfast in the Emirates First Class lounge. After a 2 hour stopover in Dubai we then flew DXB – LHR … flight was 7 hours 25 mins.
After clearing customs, we caught a taxi into the city which took around 90 minutes as we got caught in Friday afternoon peak hour traffic.
We are staying in an apartment a short walk from Tower Bridge. We headed out briefly for some groceries and took a quick walk down to Tower Bridge.
